About fifteen years after a “blog” became a thing, and after about four years of paying for a site I never worked on, I’ve decided to start posting stuff.
So what am I going to blog about?
I could post about my professional field … but there’s hundreds of blogs from very well known, highly credentialed marketing executives.
I could blog about my favorite sports teams …
I could write about accomplishments of my kids …
But in the end, I remembered some sage advice I received many, many years ago, when I was a struggling college student trying to be a writer.
“Write what you know.” (Maybe that was Mark Twain … )
Simple, yet deceptively complicated.
So this blog will be about stuff that I like. Food and drink … sports and activities … toys, cars, entertainment … things you can do by yourself, and things you can do with your friends and family. I’d like to share these things with you.
Join me as we travel the galaxy (or at least North Texas) in this epic quest. We will boldly go where I’ve probably gone before, because again, this is stuff I like.
